Grant Pauls is a member of the Tahltan Nation of North-Western British Columbia. His career has taken him throughout the Yukon and BC, working with First Nations Bands. Over the past five years Grant has channeled his skill into the specialized field of mediation and negotiations. His strong background working in economic development through First Nations organizations gives his negotiation tactics strength and foundation.
Grant’s education from the Yukon College in Whitehorse and Capilano College / UBC’s Business Administration program reinforces his practical and field knowledge of business and management. The inspiration to specialize in this area, create services specifically for mining companies with planned developments on Indigenous lands, comes in response to several recent land mark court cases in which decisions pronounce the end of one era of business and the beginning of mutually beneficial partnerships between the corporations and the First Nations people. |
