It is very important for a prospective company to come into a relationship with a First Nations community with a certain amount of understanding. Many of the communities have had previous negative imprinting from developers, industry and government processes which have left them in a state of social turmoil and discord. It has to be acknowledged that the negotiation process must be diverse and creative, catering to the many different styles in which people connect with ideas presented.
